HOW TO MAKE AN ACID SONG

  1. Pick a preset or hit RANDOM for a pattern.
  2. Press RUN. That's the loop. Now make it yours.
  3. Turn CUTOFF up until it stings, down until it rumbles. That knob IS the genre.
  4. RESONANCE is the squelch. Higher = more robot.
  5. ENV MOD + DECAY shape each note's bark. Short decay, high env = classic chirp.
  6. Tap steps to switch notes on/off. Long-press ACCENT/SLIDE, then tap steps to add accents (red) and slides (blue).
  7. SLIDE glues a note into the next one. Acid needs slides.
  8. Play the keyboard live. Notes you play play NOW.
  9. Hit a SONG button for a full arrangement with drums, sweeps and breakdowns.
  10. MAKE A BANGER generates a brand-new song every tap. Infinite acid.
  11. tempo is the tension. Nudge it while it runs.
  12. When it sounds right, record your screen. That's your track.
